It does not apply to any information this is collected by any facility or website that is not owned or controlled by us, whether we provide links to these sites or not, nor does it apply to any information that is disclosed by you, to any person or organisation other than Lets Book Direct.
2. Our websites use cookies so that we can measure site usage patterns and to personalise and enhance your experience when using the Lets Book Direct Range of Services. 3. Personal information is collected by us when you register as a user, when you make an enquiry or booking via the Lets Book Direct Range of Services, when you create an Accommodation Listing, when you request information from us and when you contact us (or vice versa).
a) This information will include where applicable, your name, address, contact details and user preferences.
b) If you make a booking, we will collect the names, sexes and approximate ages of you and your guests and if the payment method for your booking is online by credit/debit card via the Lets Book Direct Range of Services, we will collect (but not store) your card details via our secure payment software.
c) If you create an Accommodation Listing, we will collect the names and contact details of you, your emergency contact and your property manager if you have one. In addition, we will collect your payment details so that Customers and/or we can pay you. If any fees become payable to us, then we will also collect (but not store) your card details via our secure payment software.

3. Use of Information
1. The information collected by us will be used to confirm and process your enquiries, bookings, Accommodation Listings and where applicable to process payments for services and/or bookings.
a) For the purpose of processing your rental enquiries or bookings, it will be necessary for us to disclose your personal information to the Property Owner (advertiser) and sometimes to other third parties (e.g. the property manager) who are responsible for the fulfilment of the booking or enquiry. These persons may contact you directly. They may also be located outside of the UK or the European Economic Area. The information that we supply will be strictly on a need to know basis.
b) For the purpose of processing credit/debit card payments via the Lets Book Direct Range of Services, it will be necessary for us to disclose your personal details, including you card details to the financial institutions responsible for processing your payments.
c) For the purpose of confirming rental enquiries and bookings to Customers for your Accommodation Listings, it will be necessary for us to disclose your personal information to the Primary Contact (customer) who is named on the booking or enquiry form. These persons may contact you directly. They may also be located outside of the UK or the European Economic Area. The information that we supply will be strictly on a need to know basis.
2. We may also use your information for the purposes set out in our registration with the Information Commissioner's Office (UK), which include administration, customer support, dispute resolution, providing our products and services, improving our services, business management or operation, reorganisation/restructure/sale of our business, risk assessment, security and crime prevention, research and analysis, marketing, measuring customer preferences, trends and satisfaction. Some of these activities may involve the disclosure of your information, on a need to know basis, to companies acting as our data processors or to service providers who operate business systems or functions on our behalf.
3. From time to time we may contact you to inform you of our promotions, special offers, news, forthcoming events and competitions. If you no longer wish to receive these communications, you may unsubscribe at any time from the homepage of the www.letsbookdirect.com website.
4. Where we have indicated that we may disclose your personal details to persons located outside of the UK or the European Economic Area, you should note that the laws and regulations of those countries may not provide the same level of data protection as the UK.

4. Definitions
Unless otherwise stated, the following meanings shall apply:
1. Lets Book Direct - Lets Book Direct Limited (including its directors and employees), a company trading under the laws of England and Wales, whose registered office is Minshull House, 67 Wellington Road North, Stockport, Cheshire, UK. SK4 2LP. Registered No. 5503677.
2. Lets Book Direct Range of Services - the website(s), systems, domain names and facilities owned or controlled by Lets Book Direct Limited through which you may offer Accommodation for rental and perform transactions in line with this Agreement. - The systems, software, services, advertising services and facilities that are provided by us via the www.letsbookdirect.com website, the www.ownerbookings.com website and any other domain name or sub domain that is owned and used by us in their association. If any of our systems or facilities are integrated into any website that is controlled or owned by a third party, then this definition shall apply only to the parts that are owned and controlled by Lets Book Direct.
3. Rental Management System (System) - The facility provided via the Lets Book Direct Range of Services, that is used to process bookings for the Accommodation and that enables Property Owners (advertisers) and Customers to oversee and administer their bookings and enquiries submitted via the Lets Book Direct Range of Services for the Accommodation.
4. Accommodation - A property, dwelling, room or other premises, temporary or otherwise, that is, or has been offered, advertised, booked or occupied for rental via the Lets Book Direct Range of Services. Accommodation includes all internal and external grounds, communal areas, facilities, contents, fixtures, fittings and equipment.
5. Accommodation Listing - The web based advertisement pages for the Accommodation, that have been created via the System using information uploaded by the Property Owner (advertiser), that when active, are capable of calculating rental quotations (including discounts, special offers and extras where applicable) and of accepting online enquiries and bookings via the Lets Book Direct Range of Services.
6. Property Owner (advertiser) - The person who is offering the Accommodation to Customers for rental, via the Lets Book Direct Range of Services. This person is normally the property owner, however it may be a person acting on the property owners instruction. This person is the registered user within the Lets Book Direct Range of Services for the Accommodation Listing and they will be the legal principal in any and all Rental Agreements and contracts made with Customers for all Accommodation bookings processed.
7. Customer(s) - The Primary Contact and any other person(s) who will be entitled or permitted to stay in the Accommodation (fee or non-fee paying), following a booking request or enquiry received or processed via the Lets Book Direct Range of Services. The Primary Contact named on the booking form will be the person who enters into the legally binding Rental Agreement with the Property Owner (advertiser) for any booking processed via the Lets Book Direct Range of Services.
