Why we created Lets Book Direct
|
In recent years the internet has transformed the way we travel, making us more spontaneous and varied in our choice of destinations. These days it's easy to compare prices and book flights online, so it comes as no surprise that more and more people are making their own travel arrangements instead of taking traditional package deals.
One of the most notable changes has been the rise in popularity of holiday and vacation home rentals and thanks to the owners of villas, apartments and other rental accommodation worldwide, we now have the choice of staying in more comfortable, more spacious surroundings, often at a fraction of the price of staying in a hotel room.
However when we first entered the rental industry, online booking technology was not widely available to private owners, so hiring privately owned accommodation was often complicated and time consuming for all concerned. We found this extremely frustrating, so we decided to do something about it!
Our background in developing systems for a leading UK telecoms company, combined with our experience in property rentals meant that we were perfectly placed to understand and satisfy the needs of both owners and holidaymakers. So in 2005 we began designing what we believe will become known as...... the best online reservation & rental management system available in the marketplace.

To keep everyone informed, confirmations and reminders are sent at each key stage of a booking and depending on the type of property selected (bronze, silver, gold), holidaymakers can even choose how they want to pay, either direct to the owner or via our secure credit/debit card payment facility.
We also make it easy for owners and holidaymakers to communicate, so everyone benefits from improved efficiency and security, without losing the ability to add that extra personal touch.
For Property Owners
All Lets Book Direct advertising options include our "virtual office manager" technology as standard, giving property owners the ability to advertise worldwide on the internet AND the power to accept online bookings 24 hours a day!
Owners can even use our rental management system to accept and manage bookings that they have generated themselves and in doing so, they can provide a high quality booking process for all rental clients.
When a booking is made, the property's availability calendar is automatically updated to ensure that it is accurate at all times. Quotations, discounts, booking confirmations, payment schedules, payment reminders, rental contracts and arrival/departure information, are all calculated and confirmed automatically based on the owners' pre-set criteria, making the handling of bookings much more professional and less time consuming.
Lets Book Direct even offer the facility to collect credit/debit card payments on behalf of owners, so that clients can pay for their reservations easily and securely.
